Here are some of my favorite spots in and around Alexandria.

Your Home, Yard, or Neighborhood - Meaningful (and oftentimes the most convenient) location.

Green Spring Gardens - A botanical garden with gorgeous foliage, ponds, gazebos, and trails. $30 additional fee

Del Ray Neighborhood / Mt. Vernon Ave. - A small downtown area with murals, local businesses, and quaint houses.

Founders or Oronoco Bay Park - A waterfront park in Old Town Alexandria.

Captains Row, Old Town Alleyways, & Row Houses - Cobblestone streets and timeless character in Old Town Alexandria

Wilkes Street Tunnel - A landmark backdrop with great lines and texture. In Old Town Alexandria.

George Washington Masonic National Memorial - Iconic architecture, plentiful trees/foliage and views of the city.

Fort Ward Park - Wooded trails, open fields, and historic stone structures.

River Farm - A garden park with river views . $50 additional fee

Jones Point Park - A waterfront park with shaded trails and a historic lighthouse. Located under the Wilson bridge.

Dora Kelley Nature Park - A creek, trails, and gorgeous natural light.

Ben Brenman Park - Open fields, a pond, and a relaxed setting.
